HARRISBURG — Sen. Elder Vogel, Jr. (R-47) announced Cranberry Township will receive $530,000 in state funding to complete traffic signal upgrades at the intersection of State Route 19 and Brandt Drive/Dutilh Road.

“With the increase of travelers on our roads and pedestrians on our streets, it is important that our communities continue to adapt their traffic systems to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing,” said Vogel. “I am pleased to see Cranberry Township benefit from this much needed funding aimed at putting safety first.”

The grant is provided through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Green Light-Go program. Established by the General Assembly in 2013, Green Light-Go is a competitive state grant program designed to improve the efficiency and operation of existing traffic signals.
