Vogel to Host Press Conference Celebrating National Dairy Month

HARRISBURG – Sen. Elder Vogel, Jr. (R-47) is hosting a press conference on Wednesday, June 4, at 9:30 a.m., in the East Wing Rotunda, located at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex.

The purpose of the press conference is to celebrate June as National Dairy Month and hear from state agriculture and dairy leaders about the positive impacts the state’s dairy industry has on the commonwealth.

Speakers for the press conference include:

  • Elder Vogel, majority chair, Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
  • Scott Martin, majority chair, Senate Appropriations Committee, represents Lancaster and Berks counties.
  • Lisa Graybeal, deputy secretary, PA Department of Agriculture.
  • Judy Schwank, minority chair, Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
  • Eddie Day Pashinski, majority chair, House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
  • Dan Moul, minority chair, House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee.
  • Jayne Sebright, executive director, Center for Dairy Excellence.
  • David Smith, executive director, PA Dairymen’s Association.
