Beaver County, New Castle and Vanport Township (Beaver County) will receive grants from the state Department of Environmental Protection to support their recycling efforts, according to Senator Elder Vogel.
- Beaver County will receive $217,932 to support its curbside recycling collection program.
- New Castle will receive $172,960 to support its curbside recycling collection program.
- Vanport Township will receive $28,071 for its leaf waste recycling program.
“These significant grants will help support our effective recycling programs,” Senator Vogel said. “This funding is indicative of the willingness of our residents to embrace the many benefits of recycling. I applaud our local officials for their hard work to make these programs a success.”
