The Department of Revenue recently announced that the Small Games of Chance reporting requirement has been delayed until 2015, according to Senator Elder Vogel.
The Department is waiving the requirement that eligible organizations and clubs file a report by Feb. 1, 2014. It will set a new reporting deadline in February 2015 for clubs with proceeds of $20,000 or more. “I am pleased that the Department of Revenue has delayed the deadline for small games of chance reporting for nonprofit organizations and charities,” said Senator Vogel. “This is an issue of concern for many of these organizations. This delay eases that burden and gives our local groups additional time to gain a better understanding of this requirement.”
