Patterson Township Receives $23,000 Municipal Assistance Program Grant

FUNDS SUPPORT EMERGENCY OPERATIONS AT TOWNSHIP BUILDING

The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) today approved eight projects throughout the Commonwealth through the Municipal Assistance Program (MAP) to improve local emergency services, assist municipal planning and support community partnerships.

Included in this announcement was a $23,000 grant to Patterson Township to assist with the purchase of a new generator for the township building. The building serves as the regional emergency operations center for Patterson and White townships, and the boroughs of Fallston and Patterson Heights.

“This grant will provide critical funding for Patterson and surrounding municipalities that have partnered to improve their community.” Senator Vogel said. “By joining together, these municipalities will be able to save the taxpayers’ money and provide better emergency operations for their area”.
