Senator Vogel to Host Event on November 6th in Chippewa
Senator Elder Vogel Jr. will honor local Vietnam War era veterans and their families during a very special recognition ceremony set for 10 a.m. November 6th, in the auditorium of Blackhawk High School, 500 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, PA.
“We are forever indebted to the men and women of the Vietnam era who served our country with honor and distinction,” Senator Vogel said. “Veterans Day provides us the opportunity to pay tribute to our veterans for their service to a grateful nation and to honor and remember those that did not make it back.”
“Skip” Haswell will provide the keynote address and Rev. Carl Neely will deliver the invocation. Entertainment will be provided by Vanessa Campagna as well as the Blackhawk High School Band and the Blackhawk Elementary chorus. Along with refreshments and entertainment, a certificate will be presented to each Vietnam veteran or family member.
